KOLASIB DISTRICT COMMITTEE ON AIDS PREVENTION & CONTROL HELD TODAY

Kolasib dated 8th May, 2024: Kolasib District AIDS Prevention & Control Committee, chaired by Mr. John LT Sanga, Deputy Commissioner was held today at DC Conference Hall. In the meeting, Dr. RK Lalthlamuana, Sr. CMO while highlighting the HIV scenario of Kolasib district, pointed out that out of 95534 blood test conducted between June 2002 to March 2024, 1859 were found to be HIV positive.

Ms. Zuiliani Hrahsel, Joint Director (IEC), MSACS gives a presentation on the roadmap for the conduct of ‘Intensive HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign in Rural Areas’, formation and functions of ‘District Community Resource Group’ and ‘Adolescence Education Program’.
