Dated Hnahthial, the 21st June 2026:

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026 is currently being carried out across all Districts of Mizoram. As of 8:00 a.m. today, all Enumeration Forms distributed in 29-South Tuipui Assembly Constituency, the only Assembly Constituency under the Hnahthial District Election Officer, have been successfully digitized. Out of the total forms distributed, 6.37% remained uncollected and undigitized as they fall under one of the categories of ASDD.

A total of 16,478 Enumeration Forms were distributed within South Tuipui Assembly Constituency. Of these, 1,049 forms (6.37%) could not be retrieved owing to reasons such as electors no longer residing at their registered place of voting (Absentee), having shifted residence (Shifted), being deceased (Dead), or duplication of entries in the electoral roll (Duplicate). Excluding these ASDD cases, the digitization process for the remaining 15,429 Enumeration Forms was successfully completed at 8:00 a.m. today.

The House-to-House Enumeration Phase commenced on 30th May 2026, and the distribution of Enumeration Forms was completed on 9th June 2026. To expedite the enumeration process, a Special Digitization Drive for all 27 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Hnahthial District was conducted on 10th June 2026 under the initiative of the Hnahthial District Election Officer.

The House-to-House Enumeration Phase will continue until 28th June, 2026. The Draft Electoral Roll is scheduled to be published on 4th July 2026 (Saturday), and claims and objections may be submitted up to 4th August 2026.
