Lunglei, 15th December 2024: 20 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF), Zotlang, Lunglei organised a thrilling and remarkable event of Weapon Exhibition at Battalion Headquarters, Zotlang, Lunglei on 13th December 2024 for NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets of 2nd Mizo Battalion NCC.

The event aimed to familiarise the cadets with various modern weaponry to enhance their understanding of the latest weaponry and special equipments being used by Forces for security of the nation. It also aimed to motivate the young generation to join Forces as their career. During the event, about 150 NCC cadets participated and showed their keen interest to develop a better understanding about weapons and role of BSF in maintaining peace and tranquility at the border.

Shri Neeraj Sharma, Commandant, 20 Bn BSF and Col. Aman Chowdhary, Commanding Officer, 2nd Mizo Bn NCC emphasised the importance of such events in promoting discipline and patriotism among youth, highlighting the value of such interactions in inspiring cadets to pursue careers in defense and security services. The event culminated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
