Aizawl, the 28th November 2020 : Aizawl based 46 Assam Rifles today gifted special aids to be used by Specially Abled Children of Gilead School under their social welfare drive as a part of the civic action programme. Special Aids like Wheel Chairs, Hearing Aid, Teaching Aid ( including white boards of various sizes), almirahs, microphones and recreation facilities to the specially abled persons of Gilead School in Bawngkawn, Aizawl were handed to the Principal of the School by Col Viplav Tripathi.

Assam Rifles carried out this social welfare activity with a hope that these small initiatives will not only bring relatively bigger changes in the lives of these specially abled persons  but also instill hope and positivity in their minds which will subsequently lead them to a better, enriched and resourceful future.
