Aizawl, 18th December 2024: Pi Baryl Vanneihsangi, MLA from Aizawl South-III constituency, today called on the Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan to discuss the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Social Security Schemes, and other important initiatives for the welfare of the people.
In this courtesy meeting, Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati emphasized the importance of ensuring that people are fully aware of the benefits available to them and that these schemes are effectively implemented for their welfare. He also highlighted the need for active efforts from representatives, mentioning that he himself has served as both an MLA and MP, which underscored the significance of prioritizing public welfare.
MLA Pi Baryl Vanneihsangi expressed her intention to continue raising awareness about the benefits provided under Central Government schemes and her commitment to ensuring that these benefits reach the people the maximum number of people.
During the meeting, key social security schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, which offer insurance coverage up to Rs 2 lakh for annual contributions of Rs. 432 and Rs. 20 respectively and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes were discussed.
