Mr Lal Thanzara, Parliamentary Secretary graced Amateur Photographs Exhibition organised by Post Event at the ground floor of Millenium Trade Centre, the posh area in the city, today. In the event sponsored by Information & Public Relations Department, Forest Department, PHE Department and others - 23 amateur photographers show case their talents in 80 dintinct photographs for exhibition-cum-sale.
Parliamentary Secretary was impressed enough to believe that those exhibitions from talented photographers in Mizoram were second to none in taste and ideas. However, he said that there is always a room for improvement for everyone. He had reckoned exhibition of the works of God to be the service to God.
True to the words of John Keats - a thing of beauty is a joy forever, the still pictures come alive in their colourful moods and motions only for the eyes of beholders. Those pictures in many themes offerring plenty of choices were tagged Rs 1000/- a piece. It was also arranged to announce the most beautiful photography according to Viewr's Poll in the forthcoming Saturday.The organiser were so delighted at the turn up of people for that event that they proposed of organising the exhibition every year hoping to promote photography and its market in Mizoram.
