Siaha; the 4th November,2020: AH&Veterinary Department inaugurated Animal Sub- Health Centre(ASHC) at New Siaha Vety Kawn, here in Siaha,today.

A brief inaugural proramme was presided over by Dr.Shahlu Khaila,District AH& Veterinary Officer and Shri.S.Laldinthara,President Model Youth Association (MYA) graced the programme as Chief Guest.
Speaking at the occassion; Shri.Dina profusely thanked AH&Vety Staff for opening ASHC at his locality and said that ASHC being opened at New Siaha locality tantamount to providing Animal Health Care facilities at the doorsteps of people residing in the western part of Siaha town. He expressed his hope for the upgradation of ASHC to a full fledge Dispensary in near future and implored the full support and cooperation of Village Council of New Siaha in this regard.

Availing the opportunity, Dr.R.Zapaw,V.O and Dr. Lalrengpuii Sailo,V.O conducted Awareness campaign on African Swine Fever(ASF) and also informed the public that, "to completely shield from and to remind ASF free district, AH&Vety needs the full support and cooperation of various NGOs,VCs and general Public" they asserted, and also gave a techinical report as well.

A newly opened Animal Sub- Health Centre will remain open on Wednesday and Thurday every Week between (12:00noon-3:00pm).
