Dated Aizawl: the 13 December 2024 : Branch Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Office, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, Aizawl organized a One-Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) today at VTR Skill Training Centre, Khatla, Aizawl withnessing wide range of participation from different age groups, Students, Prospective Entrepreneurs etc.

The programme was organized under the Entrepreneurship cum Skill Development Scheme under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India with The objective of creating awareness among entrepreneurs / prospective entrepreneurs / students about the importance of entrepreneurship, processes, various government schemes in this regard and financial assistance as well as various processes available to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the state of Mizoram.

Attended by officials from various related fields, Shri Vinayak Navghare , AGM, SIDBI, Aizawl , Er. Remtluangi Renthlei, Director, VTR Skill Training Centre, Khatla, Aizawl, Shri Zorema Darkim, Consultant, Department of Commerce & Industries, Aizawl, Shri Christopher Lalbiaknia, Consultant from Department of Commerce & Industries. The programme also withnessed the attendance of Representative, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Mizoram Chapter, Faculty Members etc. as guests and experts.

More than 60 participants participated in the program inaugurated with lighting the lamp by the guests. The program was presided over by Shri Samrat M. Jha, IEDS, Assistant Director Gr-I of the office. Shri Samrat M. Jha, IEDS, Assistant Director Gr-I of this office delivered detailed information about the program objective, information about the importance of entrepreneurship, and processes, various government schemes in this regard. Following this, all the guests attending the program addressed the participants, encouraging them to move forward in the field of entrepreneurship sharing their experiences. The program was formally concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Lalthakima. Young Professional, Br. MSME – DFO, Aizawl.

Er. Remtluangi Renthlei, Director, VTR Skill Training Centre, Khatla, Aizawl in her speech addressed the participants and expressed her gratitude & happiness for organizing such programme for better future of Students towards Entrepreneurship. Shri Christopher Lalbiaknia, Consultant from Department of Commerce & Industries, Aizawl also gave detailed information about the Central and State Government assistance for setting up of an Enterprise/Industries.

Shri Vinayak Navghare , AGM, SIDBI, Aizawl explained about financial assistance given by banks and various schemes run by the Small Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI) & the role of Bank. Shri Zorema Darkim, Consultant, Department of Commerce & Industries, Aizawl shared detailed information about the Unnati Scheme. And , Mr. Samrat Jha showed the video presentation sent by MSME Ministry, New Delhi to the entrepreneurs, sharing information about various schemes under Ministry of MSME, Government of India like My MSME, Udyam Registration, “Our small hands to make you big” through Champion Portal, way of marketing your products under PMS Scheme and GEM and market management, Z Certification Scheme, MSE-CDP, Mudra Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme etc.
