Briefing of Zonal Officers under DDMA held at Lawngtlai

Lawngtlai, the 9th June, 2021: A briefing of zonal officers appointed under District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) for rapid response in respect of disasters within Lawngtlai town was held today with Additional DC Pi Marilyn Rualzakhumthangi at her office chamber.

Twelve (12) localities of Lawngtlai town were divided into four (4) zones and three (3) nodal officers each were appointed to conduct on the spot verification in case of any disaster within their zones and submit their reports to DDMA according to which necessary actions will be taken.

A Quick Response Team (QRT) consisting of nine trained members was also constituted under DDMA to carry out immediate response in case of disasters.
