CHIEF MINISTER CHAIRS MEETING OF AVIATION COMMITTEE

Aizawl, 31st March, 2021: Chief Minister Pu Zoramthanga chaired a meeting of Aviation Committee on the 31.3.2021 at the CMO meeting room where important issues pertaining to development and renovation of the state's sole airport were discussed.

Agendas include renewal of airport license, service tariff, enhancement of staffs under Aviation Wing, and proposal for Concept Master Plan for upgradation to an international Airport. It was mentioned that there's a considerable increase in number of air passengers post lifting COVID-19 flight restriction.
