Dated Aizawl, the 1st September, 2023: Mr Zoramthanga, Chief Minister of Mizoram graced the function of ICFAI University Mizoram Freshers’ Social, 2023 held at their University Auditorium today.

On this event the Chief Minister said that as a result of our Peace Accord signed with Government of India, Mizoram University had been established in Mizoram which now becomes one of the top rated Central University in India. However, Mizoram University cannot accommodate all our seat need due to a rapid increase in student pursuing higher education. Government is taking necessary steps to expand the University Campuses in other districts as well. In such a situation ICFAI Mizoram University plays a significant role to provide seats for students since its inception and we are very grateful for their contribution, he added. He hope that the freshers’ social give better connection among the new comers and the previous batch along with all the faculties. He advises all the students to keep in mind that they are given a potent talent and ability to become success in every way they choose to study. He told them to live free from drugs and its related abusive items, always focus on their learning to become a blessing for family, community and the state.

On this occasion the ICFAI University, Mizoram give their felicitation to Chief Minister for his excellent works in various situation happened in recent days.

Dr. David Lawmzuala, Registrar gave a welcome speech with giving some reports on the university. The ICFAI University Mizoram is established under section 4(2) of the institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Mizoram Act 2006. Presently they offers 12 programme courses and doctorate degree course is introduced from this academic year. There are 630 students being enrolled with 28 Assistant Professors and 30 guest lecturers.
