General Lyndon Buckingham expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to them in Mizoram. He also acknowledged the dinner hosted by the Home Minister the previous evening. He observed that one of the reasons for The Salvation Army’s strong presence in the Indian Eastern Territory was that many of its programmes and initiatives aligned with the priorities of the Government of Mizoram, reflecting shared objectives and opportunities for cooperation.

Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham offered a prayer of thanksgiving, seeking wisdom, good health and protection for the Chief Minister, his wife and the members of his administration.
