Aizawl, 5th May 2025: Today, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma met Prof. Fauzia A.A. Arshi, Managing Director of FA Airlines, at his office to discuss prospects for collaboration between the airline and the Government of Mizoram.

The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the proposed cargo operations in Mizoram, emphasizing that such initiatives would be highly beneficial for promoting the state's organic products. He noted that if proposals are submitted in a clear and detailed manner, they would be seriously considered. FA Airlines’ proposal to collaborate with the Government of Mizoram has thus been officially acknowledged.

Later today, the proposals will be presented in detail to Pu Vanlaldina Fanai, Commissioner to the Chief Minister and head of departments including GAD and Finance.

Prof. Fauzia Arshi expressed her interest in working with the Mizoram Government to facilitate easier access to the state for travelers and to boost exports of Mizoram’s unique and organic produce. She also showed interest in contributing to the development of Aizawl city or assisting in the creation of a new urban hub.

The meeting was also attended by Pu Vanlaldina Fanai, Commissioner to the Chief Minister.
