Aizawl, 7 August 2026: Chief Minister Mr. Lalduhoma today met a delegation from Google for Education at Mizoram House, New Delhi. 

The delegation comprised Ms. Neeti Verma, Lead for Government and Strategic Agreements, India; Mr. Hemant Bhalla, Sales Lead, India; Ms. Sonia Mehra Agarwal, Digital Transformation Manager; and Mr. Satwik Misra, Public Policy Manager.

During the meeting, the discussions centred on potential areas of collaboration between Google Gemini AI and the School Education Department, Government of Mizoram, to enhance teaching and learning through artificial intelligence.

The Google for Education delegation also expressed they can provide free Artificial Intelligence training for school teachers in Mizoram, aimed at strengthening digital capabilities and promoting the effective integration of AI in education.
