The Board also stressed the importance of obtaining registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to enable the Trust to legally receive donations from abroad, and resolved to pursue the matter.

The meeting further agreed to collaborate wherever possible with the Mizoram Corporate Social Responsibility Cell (CSR Cell).

It was also decided that Government Departments under the Mizoram Government requiring an implementing agency for CSR projects may utilise the Chief Minister’s Charitable Trust for that purpose.
