11th March, 2025: Central Integrated Pest Management Centre, Aizawl has conducted the 1st day i.e., inaugural programme of 2 days HRD programme on IPM for Rabi 2024-25 from 11.03.2025 to 12.03.2025 at Baktawng Village, Thingsulthliah rd block. Serchhip district.

Today, the first day of the inaugural programme officer in-charge & Technical staff of CIPMC Aizawl delivered the Lectures on IPM concept, need of IPM, Components of IPM, Seed treatment campaign, Identification of Pest, diseases and beneficial insects, Biopesticides and botanicals, Hazardous effects of chemical Pesticides, safe and Judicious use of Pesticides besides group dynamics. IPM exhibits were displayed during training programme.

Farmers actively participated in the programme.
