‘Gan Sabra’ or the Garden of Cactus a Non Government Organisation (NGO) founded by Lucy Marvati in 2005 to support and educate orphans. To further support the cause of Gan Sabra, 10 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 23 Sector Assam Rifles gifted a computer set as part of AR Military Civic Action (MCA) Programme to the NGO. This aid of Assam Rifles to the NGO will help the children in becoming computer literate and will help them in being better and well informed youth. Officers along with their wives visited Gan Sabra and interacted with the children and staff of Gan Sabra Orphanage and gave away toys and ration items. The joy of children knew no bounds after receiving the toys. The staff of Gan Sabra thanked Assam Rifles for their  noble gesture.
