CORRIGENDUM (CHIEF MINISTER MEET UNION HOME MINISTER YESTERDAY PRESS RELEASE)

167/2024-2025

Dated Aizawl, the 3rd August, 2024: Government Press Release No. 165/2024-2025 dated the 2nd August, 2024 headlined 'CHIEF MINISTER MEET UNION HOME MINISTER YESTERDAY' in which the second paragraph mentions 'the Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum' was erroneously quoted in the conversation between the Mizoram Chief Minister and the Union Home Minister.

The Chief Minister had not mentioned name of any specific group but had instead suggested that tribal leaders, who could represent the various tribes as a whole, may also be included in the talks.

The error in the earlier Press Release is highly regretted.
