Dr Lalrozama IAS DC Mamit flagged off Maitri Cycle Rally to Celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman. The Cycle Rally started from BOP  Panitar in West Bengal on the 10th of January 2021 which will end at BOP Silkore in Mizoram on the 17th 2021. The rally consist of 17 participants from various BSF Battalion led by two Asst. Commandant.  

The objective of this Maitri Cycle Rally is to promote friendship and amity among border population, instill sense of confidense in border population, interaction with BGB personnel at certain important places and convey the people about ill effects of drug abuse, cattle smuggling and other crimes along the border.

The Cyclist were received  and honoured with hospitality by their comrades from 90th Bn. BSF at W. Phaileng Community hall along with people leaders from West phaileng and other officials from Mamit District.
