Eleven(11) Meritorious girl students of class X & XII(5 from High School & 6 from Higher Secondary School) belonging to Siaha district, who had done exceedingly well the recently declared HSLC & HSSLC 2020 result were felicitated by Siaha DC office, under the aegis of Beti Bachhao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme, here at Siaha today.

The felicitation programme was presided over by Smt.B.Malsawmtluangi, SDO (S) & Nodal Officer,BBBP and Shri.Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, Deputy Commissioner,Siaha graced the function as the Chief Guest.

Speaking at the occasion, Shri Bhupesh Chaudhary praised their achievements and congratulated them. He said that their recent achievements are the start of their long academic journey and advised them not to be complacent but prepare themselves for tougher journeys ahead. He also exhorted parents to continuously motivate and encourage their daughters in their pursuit of higher studies.

Amongst those meritorious girl students felicitated today were Miss.Singokhai Chozah D/o C.Thahe who topped HSLC examination and Miss M. Beihniarili D/o M.Beichi who stood 7th in the Arts stream of HSSLC Examination 2020.
