Aizawl, 04.11.2023: As preparation for General Election to Mizoram Legislative Assembly 2023 continues, a SVEEP function was organized at Falkawn Community Hall on 03.11.2023 at 7:00 pm. Smt. Nazuk Kumar, DEO Aizawl District graced the function as Chief Guest.

The District Election Officer in her speech to the gathering alluded to history when countless men and women fought for the right to vote. She encouraged all voters to exercise their hard earned right to vote. The DC also highlighted the importance of quality voting, and the power of voters to create change and progress.

This SVEEP organized DEO visit programme was held in collaboration with the Falkawn Branch YMA. The Branch President Shri. Zomuankima also gave a speech on the importance of voting. The programme was chaired by Smt. C. Laltleipuii, Nodal Officer, SVEEP Aizawl District and ended with a vote of thanks from Smt. Emily Lalrinpuii, Convener, SVEEP Content Creation team.

SVEEP Aizawl District has organised various activities in a bid to educate and create awareness amongst voters. General and targeted approach has been employed to spread information amongst various groups of voters and slo obtain information about low voter turnout areas.
