Lunglei; the 1st February,2024: Deputy commissioner, Lunglei , Pi Ramdinliani , IAS visited the newly raised 2 Mizo Bn NCC Office campus at Saizaikawn. 2 Mizo Bn NCC looked after the welfare and training of National Cadet Corps (NCC) for the entire NCC cadets of colleges & schools belonging to southern part of Mizoram comprising 3 districts viz: Lunglei, Lawngtlai & Siaha district.

Pi Ramdinliani was accorded a warm welcome by the battalion and Col P K Singh, Commanding Officer briefed the DC about the NCC organization and its activities in general.

She interacted with the NCC staff and cadets and exhorted them to give their all-out effort to the NCC and best to the nation. She also felicitated cadets of Gov’t College Lunglei who recently participated in adventure activities conducted by NCC Directorate (North Eastern Region). She expressed her happiness over the good work done by the Battalion for the NCC belonging to the southern part of Mizoram and wished the Battalion-the best for its future endeavors.
