Aizawl, the 19th August 2020 : The 4th Edition of Digital Photo Art Exhibition and Competition organized by Mizoram School of Photography  and Photography Club of Mizoram to mark the 181st World Photography Day was inaugurated online by I & PR Director Pi Lallianpuii at her office this morning.

Pi Lallianpuii remarked that photography besides being an art form is also an important tool of documentation. She praised the efforts of Mizoram School of Photography in promoting photography amongst youngsters and talented youths in the state. The importance of a picture in the depictions of events can be gauged by the popular saying 'A picture is worth a thousand words', she added.

In the previous editions of the Exhibition, all entries were displayed in venues but this year due to the pandemic all entries have been put up on the site www.pcom.ga for the public to view the photographs. A total of 244 photographs from 37 photographers are vying for Awards in 4 categories.
