Lawngtlai, 22nd November 2025: As part of the preparations for the upcoming 12th General Election to the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), a training session for the Dispatch and Receiving Teams was conducted today at the DRDO Conference Hall. The training was supervised by District Election Officer (DEO) Shri  Donny Lalruatsanga.

In his address, the DEO stressed the importance of ensuring a smooth, efficient, and transparent election process. He highlighted the crucial role of election officials and emphasized the need for utmost diligence to avoid any errors. Acknowledging the significant responsibility carried by the Dispatch and Receiving Teams, he urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and precision. He also expressed appreciation for their commitment to attending the training for better preparedness.

During the session, participants were briefed on various procedures, dos and don’ts, essential guidelines, and other key instructions related to Dispatch and Receiving duties. The training was imparted by Shri Gilbert Lalhlimpuia (Master Trainer) and Shri Collin Hlychho (Election Officer).
