Dated Champhai, 6th June 2026: Deputy Commissioner of Champhai and District Election Officer Mr. Mohammad Aaquib visited Booth Level Officers within Champhai town on account of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision, discussing ways forward and hearing their concerns.

Champhai DEO Mr. Mohammad Aaquib visited seven booths under 24-Champhai South Assembly Constituency - Champhai Vengthar, Tlangsam I & II, New Champhai, Zotlang I & II and Ruantlang. He also visited four booths under 23-Champhai North Assembly Constituency - Dawr Veng, Rahsi Veng, Awmpui Veng and IB Veng. He urged the BLOs, Addl. BLOs and the Booth Level Standing Committees to grasp the importance of the SIR and to work together diligently and in harmony. He also reminded them that the DEO's office is available to anyone who needs help.

The DEO was accompanied by Election Officer Mr. Ngulzathuama; Champhai South AERO Mr. Lalchhuanawma Ralte, SDC; and Ms. Zohlimpuii, SDC. The team had a fruitful interaction with the BLOs and their teams, addressing their doubts and concerns, and discussing ways to expedite the various phases of SIR while maintaining efficiency and quality.
