Today a District Level Committee On Cleanliness Meeting was held at DC Conference Hall, Mamit which was chaired by Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, the Deputy Commissioner of Mamit District on matters relating to forthcoming Cleanliness Week starting from 2nd October - 9th October, 2019.

Dr. Lalrozama who is the Chairman of District Level Committee On Cleanliness welcomed all the members and appreciated their presence to organised a fruithful cleanliness week 2019 and urge them to continue their efforts towards clean Mamit.

n the Meeting it was decided that within Mamit Town Cleanliness Competition for Schools, Offices, Hotels and Restaurants will be organised and also a competition on Essay Writing and Poetry Writing will be conducted for Higher Secondary School and College students. Responsible Officials from amongst the Committee Members were chosen to inspect and conduct these competitions in a fair manner.

During the Cleanliness Week, all the village council authorities are expected to have a wholesale voluntary cleanliness drive as per their convenience.““It was also decided that a closing function of the cleanliness week 2019 will be organised at Chhimveng YMA Hall at 11:00 AM were various prizes of the competition will be distributed and all people of Mamit Town are expected to attend the function.

Almost all the members of District Level Committee On Cleanliness attended the Meeting.
