Mamit 15th April, 2021 : A convergence meeting of MGNREGS and various line dept. was held at the DC Conference hall Mamit with Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, DC as the chairman of the meeting.

In the meeting it was decided that a convergence mechanism be established through Cluster Facilitation Project (CFP) one in W.phaileng and the other in Zawlnuam RD Block to coordinate better functioning of the various departments. This project will be valid till March 2023.

The Meeting decided to observe Catch the Rain Week from 19 -25 April 2021. As desired by Prime Minister of India resources under MGNREGA will be utilised to Catch the rain, Where it falls, When it falls so that maximum amount of Rain water can be stored for the use of the General Public.

The Meeting was attended by PD,DRDA, EE, PHED, DFO, BDOs, DSO, DO, S&WC, District Manager, FOCUS, District GIS Expert, CFP, DRDA, District Functional Specialist (Skills), DDUGKY, District Co -ordinator (NRM), CFP and DRDA Mamit.
