Mamit 19th April, 2021 : A District Level Task Force on Covid-19 meeting was held at the DC Conference Hall, Mamit with the chairman of the DLTF Committee Dr. Lalrozama, IAS, DC Mamit to discuss various issues regarding Covid-19 pandemic currently faced by the District and other parts of the country.

The meeting decided to requisition for Govt. Quarantine Centre namely BDO Rest House Zawlnuam, Tourist Lodge Zawlnuam, Tourist Lodge Reiek, Tourist Lodge Mamit and 26 Community Quarantine Centres were identified in the meeting. Any person irrespective of Covid-19 test result coming to Mamit District from other parts of the country besides Mizoram will have only two recognised entry point namely Kanhmun Damcherra and Medili shall be quarantine for 7 days after which second test for Covid-19 will be conducted again.

CCC/DCHC facilities were also identified for medical authorities to station Covid-19 positive patient. SSA Girls Hostel and SIRD/DPRC are the two facilities identified for the purpose.

Appointment of Executive duty officials and identification of duty point, nature of duty and timing of duty detailment is vested with SP Mamit for proper execution. The meeting also decided to make public announcement through VC Information PA System as many as possible to make the general public aware of the various issues and DC orders regarding Covid-19.
