PUBLIC NOTICE 

As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department, Regional Meteorological Centre, Guwahati and Meteorological Centre, Aizawl- looking through over Assam and the adjoining areas, it is likely that Mamit, Kolasib, Lawngtlai and Siaha Districts will experience heavy rainfall, while there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Lunglei and Hnahthial Districts. Moreover, thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over Mizoram.

Such being the case, all the citizens of Mizoram are requested to be alert for their safety as far as possible so as to avoid disasters due to heavy rainfall in the State.

The public is further requested to contact and inform the concerned District Emergency Operation Centre (D.C. Office) immediately, which is functional 24x7 to respond to any kind of disaster.
