Dr ZR Thiamsanga, Champhai North MLA & Vice Chairman Health & Family Welfare Board, Government of Mizoram yesterday visited DM Hospital here at Champhai Vengthlang, briefed them about the Mizoram State Health Care Scheme (MSHCS) and asked the Hospital Authority to join the mainstream Health facilities, upon his request and from their in depth studies the Hospital agreed to join the State Health Care Scheme.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman, Health & family Welfare Board elaborated the State Health Care Scheme and pointed out various notified rates. According to the Scheme, each family registered under the Scheme can avail upto 2 lakhs health coverage annually. The Scheme can go in tandem with Central Scheme ABPMJY, Golden card. Soon after the agreement, Dr ZR Thiamsanga announced the restoration of empanelment of DM Hospital by the state government.
