Draft Electoral Rolls for use in the General Election to VCs under MADC,2023 published in Siaha

Siaha; the 17th February,2023: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shri Lalhmunsanga Hnamte published Draft Electoral Rolls for use in the general election to VCs under MADC,2023, and handed over one copy each of soft and hard to all the representatives of political parties, at a function held at DC's Conference Hall,here in Siaha, today.

There are 99 VCs under Mara Autonomous District council, 11968 households and 42891 voters, comprising 20711 male voters and 22180 female voters.

Summary Revision of Village Councils under MADC,2023 with reference to 1st January,2023 as the qualifying date is scheduled as follows:-

1.Publication of Draft Electoral Rolls---17.02.2023

2.Submission of Claims &Objections---(18.12.2023--27.02.2023)

3.Disposal of Claims and Objections---(28.02.2023--10.03.2023)

4.Publication of Final Electoral Rolls--17.03.2023
