Mr.J.H. Rothuama, Minister,  Excise& Narcotic Department had convened the meeting of Excise& Narcotic Department officials and leaders of the Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA) on the subject of 'Campaign against drug and liquor abuse' in Mizoram at his Office chamber, today. Excise Department team were led by Mr Lalbiakmawia Khiangte, Commissioner of Excise & Narcotic Department while CYMA was represented by its President Mr Lalchungnunga and other leaders.The Minister on behalf of Excise & Narcotic Department, Mizoram had donated a significant amount of Rs 50,000/- to strengten the efforts of CYMA in their campaign against 'drug and liquor abuse' in the state.

The Minister expressed his gratitude towards the voluntary works of CYMA which he believed in every way would  strengthened  the works of Department of excise & narcotics in Mizoram. Mr Lalbiakmawia Khiangte, Commissioner, Excise Department had also welcomed the effort of CYMA and assured full co-operations.In this meeting leaders of CYMA and Excise Department  Officials exchanged their views and ideas and come agreement to consult each other as team mates in campaign against  'liquor and drug abuse' in the state to improve the clean image of Mizoram.
