Mizoram Rural Bank, Khawzawl branch conducted a successful Financial Literacy campaign and Special KCC campaign with reference to launching of “Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyan” on 19 September 2023 to saturate the remaining PM Kisan Beneficiaries with Short Term Agriculture Loans through KCC by the Hon’ble Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs and Hon’ble Agriculture Minister, GoI at Chawngtlai Village, Khawzawl district. Further, the campaign also included Swachhata hi seva special campaign.

The programme was attended by DDM, NABARD, Champhai, Village panchayats members, SHG members under MzSRLM and VOs, MHIP, Teachers and Students.  The campaign covered a range of government schemes, including PM-KISAN, MUDRA Yojana, PMEGP, and others by NABARD, as well as PMJJBY and PMSBY. This comprehensive initiative aimed to empower the local community with essential financial knowledge, fostering economic growth and stability in the region. The campaign's success was attributed to its tailored approach, interactive workshops, community involvement, and local relevance. By enhancing financial literacy, the campaign is expected to have a lasting positive impact on Chawngtlai village residents of Khawzawl district.
