GAD notifies Public Holiday for Government Servants in 15-Rengkashya MDC Constituency area on poll day

Aizawl, the 15th May 2023: As reproduced below, GAD, Government of Mizoram declared 17th May, 2023 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions within 15-Rengkashya MDC Constituency under Chakma Autonomous District Council to cast their vote.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to declare the 17th May, 2023 (Wednesday) as Public Holiday for all Government Servants including employees under Central/State Public Undertakings, Educational Institutions and Banking Institutions within 15-Rengkashya MDC Constituency under Chakma Autonomous District Council where poll is scheduled to be held so as to enable the voters to exercise their franchise in the General Election to Members of District Council under Chakma Autonomous District Council, 2023.
