Lunglei, 13 October 2025: Mizoram's General Administration Department (GAD) and Environment, Forests & Climate Change (EF&CC) Department Principal Secretary, Pu Sudhir Kumar, along with Vigilance Secretary Dr YLN Reddy, visited Lunglei District from 11 to 13 October 2025.

During their visit, the officials were warmly received by Deputy Commissioner Pi Navneet Mann, along with other district-level officers. Besides holding a review meeting, the team also visited several key developmental sites across the district.

Today, the Principal Secretary and the Vigilance Secretary held a meeting with district heads of various government departments at the DC's Conference Hall, Lunglei, to review the implementation and progress of government programmes in the district. Deputy Commissioner Pi Navneet Mann briefed the visiting officers on the district's major developments, government initiatives and ongoing projects. Department officials also shared updates and issues related to their respective areas of work.

The visiting officials expressed appreciation for the efforts of the district administration and line departments, while encouraging continued coordination and dedication to ensure effective and efficient implementation of government schemes across the district.

Earlier, the Principal Secretary and the Vigilance Secretary inspected the Lunglei District Park located within the Tlawng Reserved Forest and Zobawk Mini Sports Complex located within the Tlawng Riverine Reserved Forest. They also visited the Divisional Forest Office and Nursery, as well as wood-based industries and horticulture farms in Lunglei.
