Dated Siaha 23rd October 2023 : General Observer for 39-Saiha(ST) A/C and 40-Palak (ST) A/C Shri. P.S. Pradyumna (IAS) holds a meeting with Sector Magistrate at DC Mini Conference Room in the district capital today.

At the outset, the General Observer highlighted the importance of Sector Magistrate for ensuring a free, fair and smooth conduct of elections. He apprised the Sector Magistrate regarding the need for establishing strong and direct communication with the Block Level Officer (BLO) . He asked the Sector Magistrate to create whatsapp group for better interaction and communication with the BLO. He pointed out that as Sector Magistrates has to carry out any instructions from the DEO at the groud level, he requested all the Sector Magistrates to stay alert at all times. He further asked them to visit the Polling Stations at least twice before the Polling day.

Shri Pradyumna also asked the Sector Magistrate to check the availability of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) in their respective areas of operations. To ensure the safety of EVM, he further demanded all the Sector Magistrate to sleep only in the place assigned for them. He extended his best wishes for the Sector Magistrates for successful conduct of elections.

The District Election Officer, Superintendent of Police, Returning Officer for 39-Saiha and 40-Palak Assembly Constitencies were also present at the meeting.
