Aizawl, the 5th April 2022: In supersession of the previous notifications issued vide No. D.25016/l/2008-PLG(ICT) dated 2.11.2012 and No.D.25015/5/2016-ICT dated 21.4.2021, the Government of Mizoram re-constituted the District Telecom Committee consisting of the following members with immediate effect and until further order:

Terms of references:
a) The Committee shall meet at least once in every quarter in a year.
b) To monitor and review the progress of telecommunication development in the concerned District.
c) To facilitate and co-operate the Telecom Service Providers (TSP) and Infrastructure Providers (IP) for implementation of broadband connectivity in the rural areas.
d) To resolve issues relating to power and electricity, rights of way and installation of mobile tower in the District.
