Aizawl, the 15th February 2024: Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati felicitated the four cadets, three boys and one girl who had participated in the Republic Day Camp(RDC) and performed at the prestigious events for the NCC Cadets during the celebration program of Republic Day 2024 in New Delhi. The felicitation program was held at the Raj Bhavan this morning.

As a token of appreciation, the Governor gifted each of the four cadets a laptop computer along with a certificate of appreciation. Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati also interacted with the cadets and they spoke about various opportunities the youth of Mizoram have in the Armed Forces of India.

The cadets from Mizoram were successfully participating in this year’s Republic Day celebration events at the coveted areas. The two boys RDC cadets from 1 Mizo Air Sqn NCC participated in the Line Area, Flag Area and Prime Minister Rally. The 1 Mizo Battalion RDC boy cadet participated in the Line Area and Cultural Program. The girl cadet from 1 Mizo Air Sqn NCC participated in the North Eastern Region(NER) Directorate Group Dance & Ballet, National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP) and Youth Exchange Programme (Cultural).

Cadet Under Officer K.C. Lawmsangpuia, Cadet Corporal H.Malsawmtluanga, Cadet Corporal Celine Vanlalhriati and Cadet Corporal C.Lalruattmawia from 1 Mizo Battalion RDC successfully participated at RDC 2024.

Colonel SS Kalia, Commanding Officer, 1 Mizo Battalion NCC, Wing Commander Lalrinsanga (Flying Pilot) and Commanding Officer,1 Mizo Air Squadron were also at the felicitation program.
