Aizawl, the 19th January 2023: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati reviewed the implementation of Prime Minister TB Mukh Bharat Abhiyan with the Officials of Health & Family Welfare( H&FW) at Raj Bhavan today.

Pi Esther Lal Ruatkimi, Principal Secretary briefly apprised the Governor of the highlights of the initiatives under PM TB Mukh Bharat Abhiyan. Dr. Eric Zomawia, Mission Director, National Health Mission then gave PowerPoint presentation on the implementation of the program covering the period beginning from the last review meeting till date.

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati thanked the Principal Secretary and her team for their effort on the mission to eradicate Tuberculosis from the state. He believed that the state is performing well in most areas However, he shared his observation on a few areas that need to be given more attention such as the cases relating to multidrug TB resistant. Dr. T.Lalhmangaihi, Principal Director, H&FW, Dr. Lalfela, Nodal Officer, State TB Cell, and other officials also attended the meeting.
