Aizawl, the 14th August, 2023: As part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' and under the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign, the District Administration of Aizawl today organised Har Ghar Tiranga Rally at Aizawl. The participants carried the Tricolour as they marched from the Deputy Commissioner's Office and culminated at MINECO.

Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl, Pi Nazuk Kumar IAS flagged off the rally at 10:30 AM, this was followed by tricolour rally from DC's Office to MINECO led by Deputy Commissioner, which included officials and students, among others.

In the rally, the Deputy Commissioner administered the oath of unity (Panch Pran Pledge) to the participants. While highlighting the importance of the ceremony, DC Aizawl urged the gathering to cherish freedom and utilise it in a proper way. She applauded the participants for their boundless enthusiasm and active participation.

Ahead of Independence Day, Govt. of India had urged people to take part in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign between August 13 to 15, 2023.
