20th September, 2024 : Yesterday on 19.09.2024, joint team of Special Narcotics PS under CID Crime and BSF (FGT, SHQ), Aizawl while conducting an operation at the outskirts of Seling village intercepted one vehicle (Tata LPT B/R No AS-25/EC-1856) near OP filling station. The team recovered and seized 39.624 Kgs of suspected Methamphetamine, valued at Rs 5,15,11,200/- from the illegal possession of the truck driver MD Jahir Hussen (23) S/o MD Monai Mia of Mangalkhali, Jubarajnagar, Dharmanagar Urban, North Tripura District.

Special Narcotics PS Case No.38/24 dt 19.9.24 u/s 21(c)/25 ND&PS Act was registered for further legal action and investigation on backward and forward linkages.
