Lunglei, 16 October 2026: The "I Kawtkaiah Sawrkar" (Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore) camp, an initiative of the Deputy Commissioner, Lunglei, was held at Vanhne village under Lunglei RD Block today to bring various government services closer to the people and enable them to benefit from government schemes and initiatives.

The camp saw the participation of various departments, including the DC Office, Block Development Office, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Agriculture, Horticulture, Commerce & Industries, Health & Family Welfare, Power & Electricity, and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), which set up stalls to provide accessible and convenient services to the public.

Services provided at the camp included the issuance and correction of important documents, enrolment under various government schemes, medical check-ups, veterinary consultations and vaccination, along with awareness programmes on different government initiatives. Around 160 people from Vanhne and neighbouring villages benefited from the services provided during the camp.
