Kolasib dated 9th November 2022: District Election Officer, Kolasib district Pu John L. T. Sanga published the Draft Electoral Roll 2023 for Kolasib district today. The short function was attended by all ERO & AEROs as well as representatives from various Political parties and NGOs.

The Draft Electoral Roll 2023 for Kolasib district, having 3 Assembly constituencies, shows that there are a total of 62,775 voters, out of which 30,404 are male and 32,371 are female voters. According to the report presented by Election Officer Pu Gaston Vanlalhriatpuia, the new draft roll shows an increase of 165 voters in comparison to the electoral roll published earlier this year on 15th January. Period for Claims and Objections will be open till 8th December  2022 and will be disposed of on 26th December, 2022. The final publication of Photo Electoral Rolls for Kolasib district is scheduled to be publish on 15th January, 2023.
