Lawngtlai, 15th June, 2026 : Today at 4:00 PM, Lawngtlai District Election Officer Shri Donny Lalruatsanga held a meeting with the Supervisor, BLOs and Asst. BLOs of 36-Tuichawng (ST) Constituency at the BDO, Chawngte RD Block Office.

Shri Donny Lalruatsanga expressed his appreciation to the Supervisor, BLOs and Asst. BLOs of 36-Tuichawng (ST) for their dedication and urged them to continue working with sincerity and diligence. He highlighted the importance of the ongoing SIR 2026 exercise and advised them to carry out their duties carefully.

He stated that SIR 2026 is being conducted based on the 2005 SIR and while ensuring that all genuine citizens of India are included, utmost care must be taken to prevent the inclusion of ineligible persons. He further encouraged them to work with due diligence.

The DEO informed that the digitization process is scheduled to be completed by 28th June, 2026. After this, the Claims and Objections process will be conducted, followed by the publication of the Final Electoral Roll.

The Booth Level Officers of 36-Tuichawng (ST) Constituency also submitted their digitization reports. It was reported that digitization has been completed by 100% in Kamalanagar-I, 90% in Kamalanagar-II, 85% in Kamalanagar-III and 95% in Kamalanagar-IV.
