In pursuance of information received, the Legal Metrology Enforcement Wing paid a visit to the shop of VZ Biaka, dealer in 16 bore catridges and found that the cartridges/bullets had been sold well above maximum retail price, and seized 21 packets of ten each and 9 catridges. It was learned that the said dealers were selling each packet for ₹2500/- for sometime, while the MRP was actually ₹1200/- for each. A case was filed in accordance with Section 18(2) of Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules of 2011.
