Aizawl, the 7th July 2022: As shown below, the Legal Metrology (Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department) introduced a public helpline for the general public to serve as a direct channel for reporting suspected case of use of low-grade construction materials.
In pursuance of the decision made on matters relating to quality control on materials used at construction sites in the Minutes of the Meeting held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl District vide letter No.D.320151/2022-DCA(JUD)/ dated 22.06.2022, the Legal Metrology (Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department) has taken the initiative to introduce a public helpline for the general public to serve as a direct channel for reporting suspected case of use of low-grade construction materials.
