Aizawl, 4th May, 2021 : Model Code of Conduct announced by Election Commission of India with regard to By-election to 26-Serchhip(ST) AC has been lifted following the declaration of results and completion of election process by the concerned Returning Officer. Mizoram Chief Electoral Officer issued statement (No.H.1108/1/2021-CEO/Pt) dated 3rd May, 2021 that the MCC has ceased to be in operation with immediate effect.
