Lunglei, 22 June 2026: As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026, all six Assembly Constituencies under Lunglei District—30-Lunglei North, 31-Lunglei East, 32-Lunglei West, 33-Lunglei South, 34-Thorang and 35-West Tuipui—successfully completed the verification and digitisation of Enumeration Forms by 6:00 PM on Monday.

The six Assembly Constituencies under Lunglei District comprise 180 polling stations with a total electorate of 1,03,037. Booth Level Officers (BLOs), after distributing Enumeration Forms to all electors in their respective areas, collected 98,768 forms, accounting for 95.86 per cent of the total electorate. A total of 4,269 forms (4.14 per cent) remained uncollected due to various reasons and were categorised under ASDD—Absent, Shifted, Dead or Duplicate.

District Election Officer, Pi Navneet Mann, expressed her gratitude to all officials and stakeholders involved in the timely distribution, collection and successful completion of the digitisation of Enumeration Forms. She thanked Election Officials, Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), BLO Supervisors, BLOs and Assistant BLOs, Election Branch staff, Booth Level Agents (BLAs), Local and Village Councils, voluntary organisations, political parties, media personnel, influencers and the people of the district for their support and cooperation.

She further appealed to all stakeholders to continue extending their cooperation and active participation to ensure the successful conduct of the Special Intensive Revision process.
