Mamit 19th March 2021: District Level Committee on Skills Development was held in DC Conference Hall, Mamit District with the Chairman of the Committee Dr. Lalrozama IAS who presided the sitting of the Meeting.

After long deliberation Mamit District Skills Development Plan (2021- 2026) Compiled and prepared by  Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mamit District was approved by the Committee. ITI (Industrial Training Institute) W. Phaileng will soon be made functional with the following five trades ÷

1. Electronics Mechanic  for Class 10th passed.

2. Electrician  for Class 10th passed

3. Mechanic Motor Vehicle  for Class 10th  passed.

4. Fashion Design and Technology for Class 10th passed.

5. Sewing Technology for Class 8th passed.

Mr K. Lalhmingliana Director LESDE and Officials presented power point presentation regarding SANKALP ( Skills Acquisition  and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood  Promotion) and PMKVY 3.0 (Pradhan Mantri  Kaushal Vikas Yojana).

District Level Committee on Skills Development Members were present in the Meeting.
