Meeting of NYK District Advisory Committee on Youth Programme held at Lawngtlai

Lawngtlai, the 29th October, 2020: A meeting of the District Advisory Committee on Youth Programme (DACYP) under Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Lawngtlai District was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika at his office chamber.

District Youth Coordinator (DYC), NYK Pi Mercy Sellate gave a brief report on the achievement of District NYK and proposed an 'Annual Action Plan, 2020-21' of District NYK for adoption which was then adopted after careful deliberation.

Some other special programmes like follow up action on Phawngpui Handicraft Centre which had been started for promoting the rural youths and their skills and preserving traditional crafts, promotion of moringa tree plantation to tackle malnutrition in the District and projects for community fruit/vegetable gardens and seed banks were also discussed.
